Extreme emphasis on YOUR game. Not the game T3 believes to be the best, or Moses, or Flash, but you, the counter. You, the person investing the money.
Don't stop there, though, pickup every possible angle you can when you're within the confines of the Casino, if that means playing rated, hole carding, comp hustling, whatever, take advantage as you can.
Counting methods, like Blackjack, are merely one layer upon a many layered Onion.
In your case, it is either one or both. Substituting mixed sports
metaphors and biographical tales do NOT serve your purposes.
Mathematics has a language. A language that you do not speak.
Languages are how we communicate. I do not expect you to
understand Z-Scores, Skewness, Kurtosis, etc. You can study stat'.
True, but the way you used it was improper, IE having you on the ropes. Its more like a title bout that goes 10-12 rounds, where variance, or n0 is the opposition, where we can then positively reference mental preparation akin to the fighter's training, in terms of being able to play through long sessions/hours to see our goal, EV.
So, uhm... Moses, have you figured out that (A) side count is good? (A) side count sucks and is like dribbling four basketballs with only two arms? (A) side count sounds like fun on Mondays but by Friday it gets old? Is the (A) side count the difference between TKO and no TKO?Hahaha
Tarzan. Ive always used the Ace side count. It's part of the column count. It's just the smallest column. You should know better than anyone that deck composition is the opening you want. Do you want Aces? Hell yes, the more the better. But if i swat them in the chops as hard and often as you on Monday, then i will be handicapping horses and boarding airplanes by Friday.
Your count is about deck correlation. Flash is spewing nonsense about PE which went out with the 80s. Don S has stated number times PE is useless. So with Wong Halves you get 994 BC. Perfert Insurance is 1000 IC. You have everything but deck composition.
Few guys like you and I are willing to take that extra step of tracking columns.
Just saying it seems as though you and Flash are the forum dictators. It's exact math. 4th grade stuff.
Why Can't you get it?
These never ending threads are a result of T3 and Flash imposing their will on Hi Opt II. EOR will never change. However, constant change proves historical. Create confusion to confound the understanding. You don't need a mentor.
Wong Halves and Perfect Insurance is the best way to keep up with it all.
For a deeper understanding of the game see Moses Column Charts and Explanation.
Top engineers have the ability to understand complex equations. But the best ones can make complex simple again.

Can be very valuable if you use Multi-Parameter Indexes for playing decisions, particularly in shoe games with 1 deck or less cutoff or pitch games. For most modern shoe games (1.5 decks cutoff or worse) you're better off just using a straight balanced count like High-Low, Halves, or Zen and spread as big a your bankroll can stand. The more insulting the better.
BigPlayer and I probably have a combined 60 years of Professional Play.
Naturally, we have our agreements and disagreements. In my experience,
the above quotation is dubious advice. I prefer "grinding" to "slash and burn."
Both stratagems are tactical approaches, but the former creates longevity
and the latter carries a very HIGH R.O.R.
