The one thing I forgot to mention is as a BR challenged player every little bit of extra promotional EV you can get is really important to your survival. Expenses can destroy all your EV. You should plan trips so you get the highest use of incentives. Of course that means playing rated. If you figure expenses into your RoR you are almost certain to bust out if incentives don't cover expenses. Ideally they cover expenses and have some left over to add to EV. Of course this means playing rated. You need to do a transshipment problem to minimize or eliminate expenses. And never spend anything from your BR. Spending profits from a BR challenged BR has the same effect. Ideally you should be adding to your BR from non-AP play to have the opposite effect of what was just described.
