MWRIGHT13146,
"Del Lago Casino" is easily reachable for me.
Can you describe the BJ conditions for us?
Please also include Spanish21 games.
What about their Video Poker machines?
Craps? Do the tables offer 10X Odds.
Do you have any contact info to share with me?
True, it won't officially save a spot.
But ploppies play by some kind of strange unwritten code of honor that once you play a spot, it is your spot. The OP was talking about how to keep people off his table. I suggested "marking his territory" in much the same way a dog will piss on a tree.
You are correct, he should consider the TC before dropping his hand. He only has a $3K bankroll, so it's doubtful that he'll be in a position to ramp after only a few hands. It is possible, but doubtful.

BJ is 3-2 with 1 or less deck penetration. The thing with BJ is they don't have many tables open at slow hours. Only 3-4 tables.
I don't play anything but BJ so I can't give you any info on the other games. They do have Spanish 21 and many craps tables.
If you ever decide to goto Del Lago let me know and we can meet up.

MWRIGHT, you need to ask yourself why the casino will allow you to play blackjack every day? Please be honest, and ask yourself can you generate any positive earnings starting a shoe with two times $30 dollars and have a max bet of $60 dollars? Short term you could be up a few bucks, but the result is meaningless. At best you are just spinning your wheels like a hamster in a cage, wasting your time to break even. You are still over betting your roll using a spread that is more suited for only wonging into and out of games, and exposing yourself as a knowledgeable but underfunded player. When the day comes when for any reason you have the funds to spread appropriately, the casino that now welcomes you with open arms is not only going to quickly shut you off, but quite possibly spread your name all over the place. I recommend you get your blackjack education practicing at home, and stop spinning your wheels.
Yes. I am thinking of going early this week. However, your description of the
available BJ games is insufficient. Does the dealer stand or hit on Soft 17?
Are these 8 deck games? Is there a High Limit room/pit? Can you split to
3 or 4 hands? Do they require 2 X minimum bets to play 2 hands? Are there
5 or 6 or 7 betting spots per tables?
As a semi-retired veteran Pro BJ Player; unlike most, I spend an enormous
amount of time meeting wannabee A.P.'s in casinos (and my home) to mentor
them.
