It would be very difficult to arrive at any usable system by using side counted ranks. This is an example of the Wong Halves counting system using doubled tags. (Divide RC and TC ref by 2 if using undoubled tags.)
It shows insurance indices depending upon cards remaining taking into consideration a separate side count of aces, eights, and nines. In the example 12 of each have been input meaning that exactly 12 are present for all cards remaining values, but any valid number of the side counted cards removed could have been input. (Minimum number of aces that could be removed is 1 because insurance requires an up card of ace.)
The point is that incorporating side counts is not easy if not impossible. If a side count is attempted it would probably be best to limit it to one rank only.
