One of my shoes to end the year, +5 true count...the dealer had 4 blackjacks to my 0. Luckily, Ace showed up first each time, so I was laying down insurance every time...but, I have never had such a streak! I have not even had 2 blackjacks in the same shoe in a high count this year!
I literally have been getting my arse kicked in that regard, dealer having way more blackjacks than me in the high count, when it matters! But, it is what it is! New year!
It certainly happens. I had a session spanning several shoes where the dealer had 15+ BJs. That was mostly in low to mid counts so I wasn't taking insurance. In the high counts it was the dreaded X-up BJ. When I finally did take insurance, I lost.
First 50 hours trajectory. I have also practiced at least 10x what I have played in the casino since I don't get a lot of time to go. I keep a running practice BR so that I experience all the same positive and negative variance. I have taken a few vicious beat-downs in practice.
