Can someone tell me correct move for 8,8 versus a dealer's Ace?

I was playing CV Drills and I selected "split' against the dealer's Ace and the App said the correct move was to "Surrender"

The count was 5. However, I thought you only surrender 8,8 against Dealer ten?
If the game is not ENHC, there's no index for surrendering 8,8 vs. Ace.

    Thanks Don,

    Also, can you confirm the
move for 8,8 versus dealer ten is to surrender
but only when at or above KO Key count?

Anyone has indexes of KO Preferred system for ENHC tables ? KO BJ book doesn't seem to treat that case.

Sounds about right. I don't know K-O indices. Hi-Lo should be +1 if NDAS and +2 if DAS. Key Count is equivalent to Hi-Lo 0, as I recall, so should be close.

Would anyone with CVData (which I, for now, don’t own) be kind enough to generate me the indexes for the following game ?

    6 Decks
    S17
    ENHC
    Double After Split
2 splits max (for a total of 3 hands)
Split of Aces (only 1 card is given after the split
    Double on any 2 cards

Thanks a lot if anyone can do it

It makes it easier if you include your count system. Not everyone is paying that close of attention to your posts.

Is it the free book available on Norm’s website or printed version ?

Isn’t it the index for REKO which are all the same ?

REKO stands for Really Easy KO. It uses simplified indices, if memory serves.
