Thank you for all your input and help. I'm feeling less lost. I found a few stores on the vpfree2 site I want to check out.
I will look into bob's software. It sounds like a must if this becomes something I intend to do every year. I think I'll see how this year goes before I make the investment.
As for the infinite bankroll comments, I plan to get my losses back and more with comps.
The Wizard of Odds website displays the bankroll requirements for Video Poker. I would study and use it.

I hope you're planning on working the system in some way, and not just sitting down to play a high% VP game for comps. You're going to be let down.
Things change, things HAVE changed, and there's so much more to comp hustling now than when Max wrote his book. You can't stick $20k/hr through a machine and get 1% back unless you KNOW where and how to run it.
You'll likely see far too much volatility in such a small sample period.
I'm not sure its in my best interest to share something like this, which is the intellectual equivalent of reverse engineering the various casinos software comps systems, and finding their vulnerabilities.
My advice is to know the casino system you are planning on attacking. This may take time, research, play test, etc. Also, know that if, after you figure it out, you tell enough people then the casino will likely change the system! They do the offers to get you to increase play, not to beat their reward systems.
Harrah's Total Rewards is a highly sophisticated statistical marketing system that understands things like where you live, what your casino habits are, where you go and how frequently, etc. Last time I checked they had over 40 million cardholders! It will not take them but about three months to determine if you are playing their system and they will then take corrective measures.
Other casino systems may well have different vulnerabilities that can be exploited. Beating any of these systems is work.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
