Up 215 units last 3 months of 2013 in 28 hrs. Up 49 units month of January in 9.5 hrs. Spread 1 - 30 and has been as high as 1- 40 once. No heat whatsoever.
OP, maybe card counting is all just one big lie and they use variance to cover it up saying the swings are normal, perhaps? What if counting in multiple deck shoes is indeed inaccurate because the true count theorem is actually flawed? Have you ever done the math behind the TC theorem? What if we're just a bunch of sheep? What if card counting was only possible at single and double deck games, where running count systems were used?? Hmmmm
Sorry to here that KJ. I defied the odds and being a survivor seems to be in the attitude more than anything else. that is all you can do is have a positive attitude. Live life to the fullest and enjoy your life. There are revolutionary new treatments at the intracellular level on the horizon. Soon the C word will be like getting the flu.
Im actually currently looking at investing in another company that is focusing on melanoma with their patented vaccine and electroportation method that kills the tumors with less side affects and it's highly effective. KJ, dont worry, lots of new technology on the way. Stay positive

Isn't it amazing that we can always remember the tough beats and losing streaks? Sorry to hear that. Since my renewed vigor in blackjack I'm up 14.5 units in 20 minutes of play. Most of the time I have been pouring into blackjack has been practicing for the real thing, I still have a ways to go. After reading "Beat The Dealer" I don't know if I will ever play a 6D blackjack game again unless it has optimum rules. Besides for that there are to many players that I have seen on the 6D games that don't even know basic strategy, it's sad. The way I see it there are only 2 ways to attack a 6D game the way I view that game now. I'll stick to double and single deck.
In poker I am up 320 units. I've just been on fire. The tables seem like an ATM machine for survival. I've even been winning the local games and have won back-to-back No-limit hold'em poker tournaments this week at a local sports bar. Tonight I won their tournament again (2nd win out of 3 entries) but in the process pissed off the guy who runs the poker game, last month it was a different house/female bartender that pissed me off. Anyways tonight me and this dude have an argument over some stupid fuked up rules, that always seem to be made at the last second and are not stated before the game. That pisses me off, someone trying to tell me how to play my hand and he isn't even in the damn game. This happens to be the same sports bar that I practice and play BJ in because I like the atmosphere and enjoy the challenge of the distracting environment which is similar to the casino. I am playing perfect BJ, I am hanging on to the count and am burning through a double-deck or a single deck in a flash. Out of the 40 or so poker players no one wants to play blackjack with me , actually 2 have asked about it but they were not serious enough . In craps I am up 25 units, one of my throws put a guy up over 120 units in 12-20 minutes.
Right now I have this crazy idea crawling around in my head that I am going to start training people on how to get an edge at Blackjack, just local services as a way to generate a small cash flow, and as a way to find serious players within a stones throw of where I lay my head.

that is a terrible idea. You are looking to earn pennies by training people that in the future can hurt or burn the games that can get you serious money? Unless you want to train them to play off your bankroll and/or as a part of a team you are profiting from, I dont understand why would you want to teach anybody how to do this. How much do you think somebody would pay? If you actually get somebody that really gets into the game and is serious enough about it to invest in his training, is that a person you want hanging around at your local casinos where you play at? How long do you think it could be before he costs you more money than what he paid?
Trust me, its a very bad idea. I know a very good story about this that would serve as a lesson, but its too long to write it.

I do not think it is such a bad idea to teach people in my local area, I see opportunity. After doing a little scouting last week it seems like the people really need it the way they were getting their butts handed to them watching them play! I think it is perfect, and I can come up with a plan to make it happen. Out of the two pubs that I play poker at I've also been scouting and keeping an eye out for any serious hustlers who may have been serious at BJ. I was wrong. One way to give my blackjack game any validity in their eyes was to win and beat the poker players at their own game, I've been doing that in both pubs. I thought for certain I would find somebody who would be serious enough to take on the challenge of Blackjack. Not a soul. If I do follow through with the plan, I plan on charging anywhere from $20-$50 an hour. I'm not worried about anyone messing up a game bjarg. The players already do that themselves. I see this as an opportunity to branch out as a BJ player in my local area, networking.

Oh I understood what you said, you have to understand that I'm going to do what I want to do and I do have an idea of what I am doing. I may not have a Ph. D in blackjack but I'm sure I will be light years ahead of who I could be training. Right now it's just a thought but I am looking forward to the idea, very much so and I am serious about it. More so than you can imagine. About the money, I really don't need the money but I'm not going to do such an endeavor for free. I would be available for blackjack play 24/7, any hours. I want people who are serious, not faint of heart. The purpose is for networking in BJ in my local area and finding serious players who may potentially want to form a team.
Out of two different houses where poker is the game of choice I thought I could find at least one patron who may be interested in BJ. I had to check where I thought I would find serious card players. Either the poker players of the 2 establishments are not interested in BJ, they are intimidated, or they already have it in their minds that "they" cannot win at BJ and have thrown in the towel
