Lets not generalize. This is probably true in gambling destinations such as Las Vegas or sleazy places like casinos on the Indiana/Chicago area. In most places I play, its just one casino. If I am leaving after a cage visit and picking up wins, I do take precautions (look around, know who is on the elevator with me, etc.) but this is different from winning and high fiving friends or telling someone "I won". It is ridiculous to criticize someone who is having a great time after a win at the bar or sharing his good fortune inside a casino. It presumes that the person came alone, is oblivious about precautions when going to his car.
The point I was making was that there is nothing wrong with sharing good news within a casino as long as you take precautions when departing from one. I mostly limit precautions I take to the walk from the casino to getting inside my car. My next stop is inside my garage and closing the door.
