My point is he tipped the dealer, whether to try and fit in, buy the dealer's silence, or just be a nice guy is irrelevant. The point is the dealer turned right around an ratted him out after he made his voluntary contribution to her bottom line from his bottom line. Ergo, no reason to be Mr. Nice Guy.

Fair enough. I already made the point that because something didn't work once doesn't mean it never works. It may actually work most of the time and that was the exception. We work in a game of variance the same concept applies here. You will see many different results but you play the odds not this happened to me once so that is what will always happen.
