I used to work there as a Dealer/Trainer of dealers and security. Run, don't walk from this place! Security is certainly nothing to be concerned about, as most of them are dumb as a stump. We used to take the people we would get in the blackjack training dept., and if they couldn't make it as a dealer, we would train them in for security in the sky. So....not the brightest bulbs in the bunch. What you need to know, and most people don't think about is that nothing in the Casino is regulated. Nothing. Food, gaming, crime - it is all the wild west. They can do whatever they want to you. Thanks to the Indians buying off the politicians on this matter in MN. They mostly accuse you of being a card counter if you vary your bets and are winning over 5K there. Most management there is just too stupid to know how to card count themselves, let alone figure out if you are. I will tell you a story, and let you decide if you want to continue playing there. Dealing in high stakes for over a decade I was almost sure they were taking cards out of decks - I went to the gaming commission (a part of Mystic, and a joke as they are self regulated) and told them this. I also had someone on the next shift watch the cards being put away. Yes, confirmed. Of course shortly later I was set up and fired. So......if you are a card counter you will know that if certain cards are missing from the deck it is a wide advantage to the house. There was so much pressure on the Pits and shifts to perform that I believe this is/was not rare. Now, since Native Americans are put in management there with little gaming knowledge, I can tell you that a lot goes on that they are clueless about. Like the dealer that stole from me, and I then watched steal from the casino. She is still there. So the place is one big joke - slots as tight as can be, food is unregulated. Tips are not given to the dealers. Save your money and go gamble in Vegas or the East Coast. They are greedy thieves.
