    Resorts has a long and storied history spanning over a century. The first hotel on the spot was built at a cost of $21,000. Another million and it became the first major hotel in Atlantic City in 1904. 1978 saw it become the first legal casino outside of Nevada. It was part of an epic battle between Merv Griffin and Donald Trump. Now, it becomes the first instance of an American Indian tribe expanding into an established gambling-destination city.

      Maybe they'll bring the surrender option back to AC.

      NOT good news for Atlantic City.

      Mohegan's casinos in CT and PA are hostile

      to blackjack players, and Spanish 21 alike.

      Resorts is also hostile to BJ players, can't imagine it getting worse

      Hopefully they'll clean up their "stainy" dingy rooms at Resorts, jeez, don't these idiots know hot to run a casino.

      Wonder if they'll violate the Spanish21 copyright like they do in CT and PA, and take away hitting split aces.

      It's also a violation of PA gaming law, yet they continue to do it.

      Good point. Time for a class action suit in PA

      I will say this though, Mohegan Sun in PA is actually one of my favorites in PA, for a number of reasons, including its actually quite well run - they did a good job there. So hopefully that portends some good news for Resorts.
