    40 years ago, there was nothing but wetlands and landfills in the Meadowlands. Well, also numerous species of birds and fish. Now there is the NY Giants and Jets stadium, the Izod center, which has hosted NBA and NHL games, Meadowlands racetrack, a large retail center under construction, and its own rail station. Located only six miles from Manhattan and in North Jersey, which is far more populated than South Jersey, with an exit from the NJ Turnpike, with ample parking and space – sounds like an ideal location for a casino.
