    Opening amid sluggish economic times, with competition from Pennsylvania casinos, Revel is off to a slow start. Atlantic City may have plenty of Blackjack tables; but its bread and butter has always been busloads of slot players. Few people actually live near A.C. I remember the bus ride from Philly in the early days – mile after mile of trees and little else. But Revel has no slot-club and no buffet, aiming for a more moneyed crowd that has yet to show up.
