• Maryland casino expansion coming down to the wire

    The Governor wants to authorize a sixth casino in Maryland. More importantly, the same bill would allow table games, including Poker and Blackjack, in all six casinos. But nothing is easy. A referendum is needed, and Aug 20 is the deadline to add the vote to the November election. If the deadline is missed, no luck until 2014.
