    That is, if you check-in at 8pm and check-out at 8pm the next day, that's one day. Don't know how this affects comped rooms. Having spent much of my life in hotels checking in and out at weird hours, I would have saved a bunch.

      This is how a hotel check-in should be. 24 hours, anytime you want a room. That way the players do not have to leave so soon after a few hours when 11am rolls around if patrons do a late check-in because they were up all night playing.
