    The Atlantic Club Casino Hotel announced Wednesday that a purchase agreement with the British parent company of PokerStars has been terminated. Had the deal gone through, The Atlantic Club would have been the first casino in the United States to be wholly owned by an Internet gambling company.

      Oh well, that's one way to trim the fat. The Atlantic Club, although among the few that posted revenue growth in NJ last month, desperately needed to be purchased Poker Stars. It's escaped shutting it's doors before and has been passed down from ownership to ownership. Let's see if it could once again pull-off this magic trick and how long it manages to stay open. This reminds me that I will need to go spend my comp $$$ before they disappear.
