At least in casinos, Poker revenues are dropping and rooms are closing. I don't think this should be a surprise. The article indicates the crackdown on online Poker as a cause. I have always thought it would fade because Poker is harder than most gamblers think, and real Poker players are happy to sit in Poker rooms and take money from players used to home games. Poker is no game for an amateur. So, while the WSOP may be larger than ever; casinos would rather use the space for more slots as the draw for amateurs fades.
