    Absolutely agree 100% with 21forme. Most of us don't care for the format. But there are some really quality folks that participate there that do not participate here or anywhere else, just as there are some here that don't participate there. So it is just more opportunity for me to learn from other players experiences. $59 per year is nothing and just the archives is worth that IMO. One good thing about the small fee involved is that it does weed out some of the non-sense, not all, but some. You have fewer newbs popping up each month and going over the same scenarios, like we do here. Sometimes it just seems like we are watching a bad re-run on TV. But the real advantage of that forum as well as this is, as 21forme stated, you find a few folks that you begin to network with. That is the huge value for me. I too recommend, you give it a trial run, metro.

    You should do it for all the reasons given. Some of the disagreements get heavy.

    Damn right they do.

    Also, I too love Green Chip but despise the software. vBulletin like we use here, or phpBB, would be quantum leap in improving the experience.

    Strongly agree. Math Prof's archived posts alone are worth the price of admission. I also admire what Norm does here and at times have felt some resentment about paying ongoing tribute to Wong for essentially just selling our own content back to us but that's really a separate issue -- the info on Green Chip is worth paying for, resentment or no.

    I let my membership lapse and don't miss it. Too many stupid confrontations over nothing and there was too much herd mentality for me. I did get some valuable stuff from it so I'm glad I joined, but it didn't seem like the price of going forward was worth it.
