Fees vary, but you will need to pay to convert your cash into local currency and back into dollars.

You can expect to pay exorbitant aggregate fees as high as 4% or 5% in various countries.

In London I met an (AP) investment banker who offered to convert currency for 1% each way, as a personal favor.

Estimate your win rate, and then factor in the exorbitant currency exchange fees, the European "No Hole Card" rules and generally poor penetration (of 65% - 70% most typically); and you should conclude that Card Counting is a generally poor idea, although there are methods for exploiting these games. Interested parties may contact me regarding this cryptic statement.

Note: In many countries dealers are sloppy and careless ... making for Carnival Games ripe for exploitation.

Note: In many countries table maximum bets can be
    uncomfortably low.

Note: Being an American will put surveillance on "High alert" - if you are not one among many tourists.

Note: Korean Casinos do not want your business. They will tolerate you if you lose a lot, especially if you are drunk.
    So from this, I'm getting:

    1. Get a Nauruan/Venezuelan passport or marry a foreigner.
    2. Travel on junkets or during peak season.
    3. Korea is that bad? BJInfo suggested it offered a pretty good work environment.
    4. [Redacted]

    Anything critical I missed?

Also for those who network extensively it strikes me that APs hitting each other's countries both benefit from converting at zero commission.

"Wait a minute. How do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible." "That's what Jimmy kept screaming: 'This doesn't seem physically possible!'"

*Some* games in Australia are beatable. Last time I looked, Crown still offer S17, double 9, 10 and 11, DAS ,with at least 75% pen with 8 deck shoes, in the high roller rooms. But be very careful about heat - I would recommend strict flat bet aggressive Wonging. If you are an islander, asian or black that wood be good cover. The arsehole racists at Crown, just might turn a blind eye. Then again, you might end up in the Yarra - be very, very careful.

Koz84 would probably know better than me.

    Hope that helps,
    Brett.
