I’m in the baby steps of becoming and AP. Been playing 4+ months. Wondering what the playing conditions are at the casinos on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls border is like. Anything Helps! Thanks.

I believe you meant to type "Fallsview".
The main floor at Fallsview has 8 deck, S17, DAS, noLS, 3/2 BJ at $25-$500 CDN, although you may get $15 when it's not busy. They use CSM shufflers on most tables but use ASM shufflers on the tables at the back, with some dealers cutting off as little as 1 deck. They use covered shoes, so you will need to observe a shuffle in order to see the penetration offered by each dealer. They also have $5 tables using CSMs with 6/5 blackjack, so be sure to avoid those.
The high limit room offers 6 deck games with 3/2 blackjack at $100.
The Spanish 21 games are also decent with 8 decks, S17 and similar penetration on the main floor for as low as $15 when it's not busy. Most are CSM shuffled with the ASMs once again being at the back.
Casino Niagara should be similar, except that there are far fewer tables and no high limit. I haven't been in there for a while though.
How are conditions in Buffalo and vicinity. Might be worthwhile to fly to Hamilton, play Fallsview, cross the border, play Buffalo and send my regards to Donald.
I have more time now to take a semi extended trip either playing additional venues or seeing extended family.
Thanks for the correction re: outdated info. The Fallsview has recently come under new management (Mohegan Sun) and I'm not surprised that they may have made changes.
With respect to playing on both sides of the border, I think that most Americans would save more by flying into Buffalo and driving from there. Many Southern Ontarians fly out of Buffalo when traveling and enjoy considerable savings over flying out of Toronto or Hamilton.
Fallsview and Casino Niagara are the only Canadian casinos in that area. On the US side, there are Seneca Niagara, Seneca Buffalo Creek (Buffalo) and Seneca Alleghany.
Last I knew the high limit rules were the same as the main floor: S17, DAS, noLS
No new dates for tournaments at Fallsview were announced at the last event on Jan 31. This is a bad sign, because they always announce the date of the next event. Perhaps another change made by the new management.
I would have attended the Hard Rock event if I could have. It just wasn't in the cards. Congratulations on your final table finish
I was at Fallsview in November last year. The good thing about them is they will grandfather you if you get in early, which helps when tables get to $25/$50 mins. $15 is possible during the day. Funnily enough, there's a CSM pit of 6:5 BJ right next to the shoe games, and some dude was playing the $25 min game when literally 5 metres away was a 3:2 shoe game.
