MWP, it’s tough finding an alternative with the same benefits as the old BJ trips. I don’t know about you but for me trips were not entirely or even mostly for making money. I considered my trips a success if I broke even. The trips gave me a change of scenery, mountains or lakes or ocean after the somewhat bland part of the Midwest. It gave me a break from family and them from me. I could be whoever I wanted and I enjoyed the conversations with strangers. I enjoyed the lone times.
Now, without BJ, the trips get expensive. However, I am finding new things to do, spending more time with family and thus noting changes in them and in the couple of friends I know. The conversations are deeper because there is no place to go,nobody in a hurry to get anywhere. I am also a bit relieved that I did not find excuses to enter any of the local casinos.
Start thinking of a world without casinos.

If you live in upper Midwest might want to consider.

This leads me to a couple of questions. If you take the test...
#1. Negative and nothing changes, you might still pick up the virus before or shortly after you take the test.
#2. Positive and then what? You head home and quarantine yourself, maybe. The idiots may see no symptoms and just keep on doing whatever. It’s not that they can force you into quarantine or force you to disclose whom you have been in contact with, can they?
I see no point in taking the test when it’s possible you can get infected on your way home, even before you get your results.
Call me cold hearted but I personally think big Funerals are a HUGE mistake in the Coronavirus era. Why not wait until AFTER a Coronavirus Vaccine has been found to do big Funerals? I mean along term Family Friend of my Family for over 20 years died from Coronavirus on April 15th and only her IMMEDIATE family of 5 Members(Other 5 Members wrtr the Funeral Staff)were allowed to do a Funeral for her and back in April, the Coronavirus was technically only about 6/7 weeks old(Very late February is when it started to really affect the U.S too) so the US Cases weren't as bad as it is nowadays. The mass Funeral Goers for George Floyd didn't help Coronavirus matters either. If it were up to me, Funerals would only be a 10 person at the most until the Coronavirus Vaccine has been found.

I have told my family to do the least expensive thing. Unfortunately, too often people show up for funerals for their own image, more concerned about how it would look if they did not show up. This whole funeral industry, cemeteries, people laying flowers on graves each year.....no, I want to remain dead in peaceZ!
