Do you know if this applies to all the Ho Chunk casinos or just the WI Dells casino?

This is really nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, on one of my recent blackjack trips in the upper Midwest, I played at a casino where they wouldn't let you sit out hands. You couldn't get back in at any bet amount and this was the rule for both their 2 deck games and their 6 deck games. You had to wait until the next shoe to get back in.

A few years ago at another Midwest casino which had the same rule. I was playing a six deck game with one other person, and things started to go bad. I got up and went to the bathroom and when I came back the other person was gone. Pit boss says we got a little problem. He says once you miss a hand you can't get back in until the next shoe, but they won't shuffle until the shoe is over. No one was playing, and I had to wait until someone came along and finished the shoe. To top matters off, at the time this was the only blackjack table open. How asinine can they get.
