In my opinion, online casinos is the test to determine whether you are an addict or an AP!

Covid-19 and casino closings....the ones who simply stayed home, practiced and pondered their AP career and related stuff, read books, archives etc., were not addicts.

Those that found online casinos calling them discovered they were in denial, they were addicts not AP’s.

Not necessarily. There are things called bonuses that can be used to hedge positively. So don't write off online blackjack so quickly. Sure the positive expectation is small but the concept works and years ago I made a couple of grand in a weekend using bonuses.

I extracted bonuses from two sites in the last two months. Most casinos prefer that the wagers go to slots (with higher house edge) so that the expected loss exceeds the bonus. As a result, they implement "game contribution" system to limit the contribution from live casino games which have lower house edge towards wagering requirement in order to increase expected loss. I still exploited two online casinos with lower expected loss compared to bonus and wagering requirements. However, I practice card counting as well to further reduce house edge and avoid sitting in mildly negative counts. Many occasions I chatted with the dealer a lot and pretended to skip some bets in moderately negative count (TC<-1) with the excuse of "talking too much to the dealer and forgetting to place the bet". If the count still heads more negative I sometimes leave immediately, pretending that the connection is not stable (which sometimes it actually is to many players). In online casinos wonging in and out is much easier than brick-and-mortar because as what I think, the game providers are not the casinos themselves and are not responsible to pay off players' winnings as they do not directly benefit from players' losses.

I would like to ask if this business model is really true for online casinos and that the game providers do not care players count cards or not because they do not share the losses. This means card counting does not require much cover? Is this true?

Now I have finished all bonuses, withdrawed all money and want to take a break before searching for the next offer. I stick with this and do not play for gambling and expose myself directly to the house edge.
