I just spent a week in Vegas spreading 1-4 on the Sweaty Spaniard's DD game, and 1-3 in their SD game - in green. Lasted 3 days (approx 3-4 hours per session) before being flat bet. Good cover and an even better act were key.

Does 1-4 against their DD even beat the game? Unless the pen is outstanding, it can't beat it by much.

I guess I was always working under the assumption that I would have to leave the strip to play at my stakes. I planned to grab a copy of cbjn. I have found that pen differs from dealer to dealer everywhere, but having the rules and number of tables at each place should make it a lot easier to find a seat.

We're talking DAS games with 60-75% pen, some with S17. 1-4 is more than enough and fairly well tolerated. I even lasted 3 days at the T.I with that spread - before I tried it on their S17 game. I shouldn't have gotten greedy.
