yes--I use KO, but I follow Daniel Dravot's "The Color of Blackjack" which uses the "true" KO count simplified to a system where you do not need to actually calculate true counts. In DD, with starting count at zero, you can raise your bet at +4 after 0.5 decks dealt, +5 at 1 deck, +6 at 1.25 decks and at 7 if you can see 1.5 decks dealt. Your big bet still is at 8 no matter how much has been dealt. This approach allows you to get more money out earlier sometimes, and then less later when your advantage is not what you assume using KO.
