The drunk act is a red flag.
You know what all counters do and what no counter does. Good cover is doing the latter and not doing the former. Trite things that many counters have done for years make you the stereotypical counter in the eyes of the casino when you do them. Things that no counter would do make it seem unlikely you are a counter if you do them.
There was a time a long time ago I would not be able to keep up with the fastest dealers. For years no I have no problem no matter how fast the dealer. I guarantee my system is more complicated than yours. You just aren't practiced enough with the system you are using. With enough practicin, and experience, it will be child's play to keep up with any dealer. I never timed the fastest dealers to know exactly what their speed is, but I bet I have seen one or 2 that dealt around 300 rounds per hour.
The only NDAS games I’ve seen were pitch, and I don’t bother with them. There isn’t a S17 within 1500 miles of me. I was weaned in H17, and Im comfortable with that. The only index differences for me would be differences based on number of decks, most of which are to minor to care.
I don’t bother with simming minor differences, as I don’t care to analyze to the nth degree. For any differences, nothing like having Wongs Professional Blackjack as a quick resource.
I am very picky about who I mentor. I have helped many, many people decide what is best for them and develop a higher set of skills. When making personal choices you just need to understand the choices. There are techniques that can make anything you have trouble with much easier. Different things work for different people. So again it is what works for that person. I can help with what works for me and other techniques that I don't use. The individual must figure out what works best to get their brain lightning fast. Everyone is different.
