If you can get heads up on the 6dk you'll probably win way more money with far less heat than playing the 2 dk game with 3 other players. You might get up to 3x more rounds per hour so it would take a pretty awesome 2dk game to beat a good 6dk game dealt very fast. (not to mention far less heat, bigger spreads, and less need for cover). Most casinos that deal pitch games are so concerned about counters on those games that they ignore the shoes.

One additional option, play the shoes, when the count tanks, move over to the 2dk game for 2 shuffles until the dealer dumps the 6dk shoe and either spreads the cards or begins to shuffle, then move right back to the shoe game.

Absolutely... I have never caught a CC on a 6D on my own... Never have the time to sit and stare at a shoe from the burn card all the way through to the cut card. I would usually look for high bets and BS deviations on those high bets. Then request count checks from the sky and let them make a decision. SD and DD I would have enough time to multitask between shuffles while also keeping the count.
