No. Use the comp room by all means and play elsewhere. Maybe play a little VP to keep the comp train going, then check out and stay elsewhere when you're ready to play at the casino in question. In general, I agree with you, but there are nuances and exceptions as you know. (I shared some of what I was doing at a lunch we enjoyed with Al a couple of years ago at a Mexican restaurant in Henderson.) One example. There's a Station casino I have been staying and playing at for years, playing both video poker and blackjack. My cumulative win is in the upper-five figures and yet I still have the ability to stay and play there. Part of what makes this fun-loving degen appearance work is that I hit them hard but limit my short-term wins (leaving after early big win, but grinding for hours through negative variance).
