A large amount of the second edition is geared towards comp-seeking green chippers. I am also lucky to have S17 DAS LS tables semi-locally. I agree though that it’s missing advice for red-chippers like myself. I’ve had to go to forums for answers about red-chipping but I’ve gotten great advice.

Thanks! I read BTTILV back in 2011 and didn't remember this green chip comp stuff. I do remember an episode where Andersen lost a multiple high stakes split hand against all odds, due to pure bad luck, and ran through the casino floor yelling before returning to the table, which I found quite natural. A non-AP player would get upset by such bad luck, so why not an AP player too, as long as he can still play on consequently, knowing that "shit happens".

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
