Back offs and countermeasures, need help handling them..

So I took a break from BJTF, only to come back and see this is the first active post...lol.

Zee, every time an active database casino sees your face, they update you. This means your face is emailed to all their subscribers, and you are the top of the list. Your face is fresh in their minds. This causes an increase in backoffs. The smart thing to do is to stay away from these casinos for a year or more, let your picture drop off, and play unrated in the meantime. If you don't, mark my words here--you will get many more backoffs in places you've never even been.

If you are addicted to these specific casinos as much as you say, learn video poker. You'll still get comps and all the freebies, and you can socialize with the other "regulars". Or even better, if you need to be around people, learn poker. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from BJ there, or even better, stay away from those casinos, for a long while.

I've often thought this very thing: why wouldn't a casino want you to play elsewhere after backing you off???

It is more a matter of principle. How could such a travesty even exist in the first place, where vermin scavengers roam the earth looking to exploit incompetent over greedy vultures who leave behind scraps.

Invest in a membership at Costco. $55. bucks and the car rental discount covers all of that and more. Book your rental when you book your flight. Check prices every couple of weeks, they most likely will go down towards your travel date. Example.....booked a full size for 4-days at $128 kept checking back and re-booked/canceled a couple of times. Last time was for a full size that dropped to $72 bucks for 4-days. It is worth the membership to get the discount.

If you have a business, you can write off the membership. They do sell bus8ness supplies. I’m a member.......because my wife likes it.

It's actually 4 days car rental since I pick up my car on a Thursday night, return on Monday night. Some weekends it's more expensive at the airport. About $250 in airline flight, another $40 to park my car at my home airport, and a bit over $$200 for car rental and lodging/ meals makes a trip to Lax Vegas about $500-$550.

Think outside the box and AP your travel. Get a credit card with lucrative miles on your preferred airline, or get a card from one of the bigger casino chains. Cultivate one casino in each location for comps and play unrated elsewhere. Don't get a car in Vegas--use the free airport shuttle to get to your home base, and an uber for everything else (you'll never spend $50/day on uber, and this eliminates the parking fee.) Get a comp from your home base casino for the buffet and go at meal switch--i.e., at 10:50 if they're putting lunch out at 11.

And don't bitch about car rental fees if you have enough money for hookers.

As far as Uber is concerned for Vegas strip. I have a better way - won’t post it online though. Faster in some ways, less flexible in others, certainly an interesting alternative.

In fact, have received 3 additional $50 deposits into my travel account this year (limited time specials, plus all of my other goodies. The card, used properly, more than pays for itself. Now that I think of it, my travel worldwide medical insurance, over $200 a year, is now covered as part of my annual fee. That alone more than pays for the card.
