To those that didn't get it, there is a funny story of an AP that played alone all the time. When anyone sat at his table no matter what they said to him he answered in a yelling crazy fashion, "My dog is named Talmadge". He was playing alone again within a few hands. Someone should post a link to it. A very funny story that we can all appreciate.

It's from Glen Wiggy's book, 1536 Free Waters. The quote is actually, "Some dogs are named Tamaldge." It's in the chapter titled, "The Genius".

I have heard of some very obscure places with edges off the top without counting, of course nobody is going to divulge such places on a public forum. South America and Central America have some good ones, but safety is always a big concern as some have mentioned.

London isn't bad because of the plethora of choices, though I have recently heard they are starting to put in CSM's too sadly since it was the last place in Western Europe you could find a decent blackjack game. Some casinos in Eastern Europe like Poland and Hungary have decent conditions, but low maximums. Stay away from other Western Europe casinos such as Spain, Netherlands, etc since conditions are D9, with CSMs.

I've personally always wondered about Monaco, but highly suspect it's CSM.

Sure, everybody knows to go play in Colombia because its a paradise for the game, but how many of us will actually make it out of the country with our lives, much less our money?

Two things I've never been called in my life. Perhaps you'd care to extrapolate on your insult? Or just leave it there for shock value? Please explain to me why I'm wrong about my perception of a cartel-ran country, known very well for extortion, murder, kidnapping, and human trafficking. And why it would be a bad idea to go in there and card count? Meistro himself said there's a tax, so that's already a bad idea. Care to add more, or are we just throwing around insults for shits and giggles?

The fact that you'd call a cautious and pragmatic man a "clueless idiot" makes me laugh. My ass is always covered, that's why I rarely catch heat for what I do, can't say the same for the rest of this forum, yourself included.

The polite way of saying what Bjarg said would be that it's not 1995 Colombia. Sure you have to be careful anywhere unfamiliar, but some/many of those casinos you are going to be safer than American casinos you may have been to (Indiana side of Chicago, e STL, isle KC, some of North LV, shit even Chester). I would visit Colombia again, but not for the BJ, Medellin is a beautiful city, safe as most major cities in the areas a tourist should be.
