Ouchez: Need help on indice question..

the game is a dd, s-17, surrender.

I use hi-lo and I often get a poor hand with a large bet out in the above game.

I am in need of the correct stategy plays, indices for12, 13,14,15, 16 when faced with a dealer 7, 8 and 9. I often have a tc higher than a pos 7 at these times and I am wanting to make the correct play.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Ouchez.

Do you have Wong's "Professional BJ"? If not, you should definitely get it. If you don't have it, I'll try to list the indices for surrendering and standing for you. I'm trying to get caught up from my trip to Las Vegas, so have been very busy today.

Wong's charts say to always hit (rather than stand) 12,13,14 regardless of the count since you have no information about the remaining number of sevens and eights - crucial bits of information.

This is the chart for when to stand on 15,16:

    dealer
    7 8 9 T A
    player
    15 9 7 5 0 8
    16 10 10 8 4 10

Here are the numbers for LS (nothing is listed for an upcard of 7):

    dealer
    8 9 T A-s17 A-h17
    player
    17 ls
    T-6,9-7 4 0 -2 -1 -4
    8-8 7 1 4*
    15 7 2 0 2 0
    14 6 3 6 4
    13 8

    * = reverse meaning

Hopefully this is what you were looking for.
