Chachie: SBA
I am thinking about springing for SBA. Can anyone tell me if SBA is capable of giving indices for the 6 card automatic win rule for 2,3,4,and 5 card combonations. I own PBA and am frustrated that all the memerization I have done are incorrect indices. Is SBA the way to go? Any other software highly reccomended?

Dear Chachie,
as far as I know, SBA is the only software on the market capable of generating precise indices. Even more, SBA is capable of generating the risk-averse indices, which is what one should use to optimize the long-run bankroll growth for given ROR. Unfortunately, SBA does not generate the indices for the 5, 6, 7 card automatic win, even though SBA is capable of using these rules in a simulation. Otherwise SBA can generate indices for all the other supported rules.

Obviously I disagree. And CVData can also generate RA indexes.

Karel: Really?
Can we assume that by *generating* indices you do NOT mean picking approximate values from a large database? There is certainly a fundamental difference between finding the precise indices by running simulations, or picking what appears to be the "closest" index from a database.

No, I mean finding the precise indices by running simulations.

Ahh! Is this correct? PBAs' indices are not accurate? I've recently purchased it. If so, how incorrect are they?
