blackjack Ninja: Indice ? for Don

    For Halves count
    9 v 2
    I have
    BS for DD is double
    BS for multi is hit
    6d h17 das ra 1
    6d s17 das ra 1
    2d s17 das ev -1
    2d h17 das ra -2

I guess I am having problems with the wide range of indices between 2 and 6 deck.

If the above is correct; or close, if I wanted to come up with one all inclusive indice it would be 1, or whatever the ev multi deck might be perhaps 0 or 1.

    thnx for your time

    Right.

Not sure why you've chosen RA indices for three of the four, and then one e.v.-maximizing one. In fact, with 2D and 6D, S17 and H17, and RA and e.v.-max, there would be eight possibilities for indices, no?

Why? They are what they are. 6D are higher than 2D, and RA are higher, in general, than e.v.-maximizing. So, you would surely expect 6D RA to be considerably higher than 2D e.v.-maximizing. I see no problem.

    singular: index

Are you asking a question? I don't see one.

On 9v2 for DD - Halves
Some sources have positive indices, others have negatives. Which are correct? I just don't feel comfortable with the negative ones.

I am reasonably certain that the correct index is between 0 and +1. Since it might be slightly closer to +1, those sources that round would give +1, while those that truncate or floor would give zero.
