Suggestion: Doing it your way, you have to compute the TC twice -- once originally, and then again, after the ace adjustment. Why not add the ace-adjusted count to the running count, and then calculate the TC at the end, after the adjustment? That way, you calculate the TC just once -- at the end.

Simpler, no?
