Hollywood: AC BLACKJACK HEAVEN
Dear Room:
I just got back from AC, and this strike is a gift for all of us.
Only 4 hotels are not involved in it. They are
All 3 trump properties
Bogata, Sands.
Everyone else is in the heat of it.
They are having so much trouble, I don't even know where to begin.
They have pit people making beds and working doubles all crying about it.
Dealers are having trouble getting pit people to come over and verify change.
They have one pit person watching an entire section, and when another one comes over all they can talk about is the fact they have had it and tired of working 8 billion hours.
0 conciousness of what's going on around them. I can't speak for the eye in the sky because there is no way to verify it.
But, it appears playing right now is totally uncontested.
Everytime the phone rings in the pit they are telling people about other things they must do.
One of the pit people I am fond of was running around serving drinks. Another cleaning rooms etc.
This is a complete mess and a cardcounters heaven.
They are tired, disgusted and all they can talk about is wanting to go home.
Trust me folks they are barely watching the store.
Happy Cards,
Hollywood

Don Schlesinger: Great news!
This is a very valuable piece of information that people should act on right away, as who knows how long it can last.
Don
P.S. I think I may have found one of your problems with counting!! :-)

Hollywood is exactly right, now is a good time to play in AC while the strike is going on... The floor people and pit bosses are REQUIRED to work 12 hour shifts (16 hours during the weekend) with no days off. They have them cleaning bathrooms, bartending, waitressing, working in the kitchens etc. Moral is very low and the long days are having it's toll on the one floor person assigned to watch an entire pit.
It does seem strange however to give a pit boss a tip for delivering your drink though :-)
Card.
