HOLLYWOOD: I have a question, it may seem

a little silly. But here goes.

As you know, I am only a blackchip player. Up until now I only have played with credit lines. So I never take much money with me.

This business of playing with cash is all new to me.

So if a person is flat betting $100.00 a card and max bet is 2 hands of $750.00. Then when that person first goes to a table, how much money should they whip out to begin with??

Wouldn't it seem strange to take $5000.00 to start with and only bet $100.00 a hand????????

Is there a rule of thumb for this kind of stuff??

What is a figure that the house would not blink with??

    And not attract attention

It may seem silly, but for me it's a new zone.

    Thanks,

    Hollywood

    Brick: You ever experienced this?

Pit bosses trying to hide there smurky smile as we constantly dig in our pockets? Since you're only' a black chip player with only' a $1500 max bet, i'd buy in for about 20 black. With a handle such as HOLLYWOOD,I assume you're a very fine actor

HOLLYWOOD, I cant seem to find the correct index numbers for your indices. 8's vs 10 and soft 18 verses 10. I have (hopefully) and others on the board try to give you helpful advice'...will you take a few seconds and return a small favor? I seldom ask for much.

    Hi Brick:

I only play KO. Using 6 decks DAS, DOA I stop spliting my 8's at +4 against 10.

Ironically enough I don't hit my soft 18 against a 10 with the same count.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi Hollywood.

From reading some of your recent posts I would suggest reading Ian Anderson's book "Burning the Tables in Las Vegas". This is one form of cammo which may help you. He talks about using disguises/name changes, etc...Sounds right up your alley.
