Viktor Nacht: Rick "Night Train" Blaine Chat Added to Archive -V *NM*

scobee 1: Chat Archive
Two questions for Viktor:
Did I miss the better half of the chat because of early-bird-itis, or was my assumption of a start time at 9PM eastern incorrect?
Since it looks like you posted the chat to the archives practically verbatim, does this mean that now everyone knows I wear a cotton Sampsonite moneybelt?
Again, thanks for the chat. Hopefully I can make the first half next time with a line pass... Keep up the good works. I think your idea to flyer the strip with "No More Short Pay BJ" is an excellent idea. Although I appreciate Norm's terminology, I agree with chgobjpro that we need a concise name that will stick with the masses. The last thing we need migrating to the midwest is the combination of baccarat shoe shields, CSM's, discard covers, and Short Pay BJ. Good luck on the crusade.
I assume that all future chats will also be archived, and will self-edit accordingly.

Did the chat not start at 9 p.m.?

Hi Don,
I am embarrassed to admit that I sometimes think I still am on eastern time, after two months in DC, even though two weeks have passed back in Chicago. So the only 'adjustment' necessary, is for me to get on line at 8PM central. Fortunately, the archive is available, so I get to see what I missed. You would think I lived in my own time zone....
BTW, the scouting trip was successful in Atlantic City. The white rabbit made fifty units in two trips, and instead of sleeping in the briar patch was comped at the former Wynn property. I found very few playable tables, but stuck to my guns. The standard game is pretty mediocre.
I took my civilian brother with me the first time, and amazed him with the fruits of my advantage play studies. He and the pit thought I played even during that session, although the net was nearly $500. He was amused when I started dragging chips out of my pockets as we cashed out at the cage. He also appreciated the meal comps I got from the pit as we were leaving. I found two stores that had a SCORE of 50+ using my preferred parameters, only a $10 Rickshaw ride apart.
I am getting closer to that half kelly ROR we once talked about. Recent wins have put me within spitting distance, and a little additional seed money.
Any truth to the rumor that you have never been barred?
I promise to get to the chatroom on time for the next one.

"Never" encompasses an awful lot of territory. There are a very few places where I am not welcome. But, it's a tiny percentage of all the places I've played in my life.

You were correct, I was embarrassingly late. I had 7PM PT stuck in my head for some reason. But Rick did a great job as host, and its a good start to getting back into the groove.

I don't think that should have come as a surprise given the existing archive. And of course we can honor requests if someone says something they want edited out, although I would have to work out the mechanics with Don.
Although its been done in the past, we don't plan on archiving open chats.

It's been in my head for awhile. Would also include a BS chart and a list of casinos with good games.
Good Cards,
