West Tex: Statute of limations
I have a friend who is a loosing black chip player. Three years ago he asked me to be his guest R F B at the mirage. we decided that he would suppy the bankroll and pay me 30% if we won.Iwould set at the table not playing a hand.
when we had the advantage I would instruct him to
parlay to two hands of $500. I warned that this style of play could get him kicked out. After two days we were about $7000 up. the third day the casino manager restricted him to flat betting. Later that day my friend "being the complusive gambler" decided to flat bet a six deck solo. He was backed off from playing blackjack. he has not been back in three years. How long do casinos keep record like this? He likes the mirage and would like to go back. could he get a new players card under the same name without raising any red flags?
P S
the casino manager never said a word to me

BobL: Re: Statute of limations, and limitations, too.
He can get a new player's card, and a new number. Under the new system at all MGM/Mirage properties, he can get at another property(MGM Grand, NYNY, Golden Nugget) and use it at the Mirage.
However!!--they may recognize by themselves, for their facial recognition software could alert them, or the name in their database could alert them. If you are sure that he was merely backed off from playing blackjack, then the worst that can happen is that they bar him now. If, on the other hand, they read him the trespass warnings, he could theoretically be arrested for trespassing.
I think that the statute of limations is the law governing drinks with fruit in them. There is no statute of limitations on barring, and once a trespass warning is given, it applies forever, provided they remember that they've given the warning.
