Claymore22: Re: NOT optimal use of energy, Eroded EV potential

I realize that the 2 of us playing at the same table increases ROR, but playing at separate tables would decrease the 'fun' factor (hard to quantify) and, almost certainly, land me in the doghouse, big-time.

Nonetheless, I submit that, by working/playing 'together'--that is, she's counting the As, while I'm counting the cards--increases our betting efficiency enough to offset the increased ROR.

Anyway... it seems to work for us (both on and off the BJ tables).

    Claymore,
Playing seperate tables with good DD conditions would be optimal for a number of reasons. But if playing together is more fun and better for the relationship, than kudos.

Harold Harvey had a good idea of an insurance count. There's an unbalanced 2 level running count only system that's just as effective as the Ten's count for insurance purposes. If your wife can keep an accurate running count, this may work for you.

    Goodluck
