by the way... although i am aware of the "losing" aspect of a 6:5 game (which is all there is for single deck), if someone playing this game never, or very rarely gets any blackjacks at a particular table, what difference does it make that its only a 6:5 payout? why is there such a fuss made on this aspect. las vegas games are not what they used to be anymore. especially after the horeshoe ended its tenure.

Trapper: No insult intended
Thanks for the whole story. Weird that they would tell you that you were welcome to play (but not table games) and then chuck you out.
Didn't mean to cause you offence. You now know that you shouldn't waste your time playing 6:5 BJ unless you have some information outside of counting that will allow you to beat the game. As Parker said, it was probably a case of mistaken identity. The other explanation is that your name was in their file from a previous incident or as a result of information sharing with another casino.
You would really be better off flat betting an 8 deck shoe than using a 4 to 1 spread on a 6:5 BJ single deck game. There are much better games at Planet Hollywood.
It is very unlikely anyone here has info from the PH computer system and they would be risking their jobs (at least) by passing that info to you.

If you are playing somewhere where you "never, or very rarely gets any blackjacks at a particular table," then you should leave immediately - you are being cheated. While you may get occasional dry spells where you go long periods without a BJ, on average you will get one approximately once every 21 hands. Thus, changing the BJ payout has a HUGE effect on the overall house advantage. See the link below for a graphic representation of this.
You are far, far better off playing an 8 deck shoe than a 6:5 single deck game.

Wolverine: yellow pages
yeah, they are...you don't have that listing in yours? I'd look for the name Steve Forte. From what I've read, he'll do just about anything in gaming (for the house, or a player) if the price is right or it brings him amusement. ;-)
Good cards to you and thanks for the humor/levity this thread needed. :-)
(Seriously, I was just trying to direct the poster to a more personal contact than this board, or even a subscription based board where experts hang out. [I hope I didn't offend anyone with my post.] I'm not sure a "real" answer would ever come out here. Although, I think the mistaken identity theory has great merit. What a way to get taken down though: counting cards at 6:5 and being barred because you look like someone else! Then having your name entered as an alias for the barred player! Yikes! I guess the next time someone tells me I look like Jim Cramer, I'd better grab my chips and run! haha)

well how stupid are these casino people???
if im capable of cheating the game, i'd be sure i'd be betting yellow chips, not measley greens, with 1 chip minimums. vegas sucks!

I play KO and would never play a 6:5 game with such a spread. ..1 to 5 in this game is very weak. I play a bigger spreads at SD, 3:2 games. Hell, I'd never play a 6:5 game period with straight counting. (well, maybe I should say NEVER) You get a better game at the shoes AND double deck than this SD.
Obviously they thought you were doing something else...perhaps, even cheating...collusion???
If that's the best game they got there, you haven't lost anything providing they don't flyer you around town...I believe they may have even done you a favor!

Trapper: Not likely

If they thought he was cheating, the security escort makes sense but not the "you are welcome to stay and play non-table games" offer. Most likely, they considered him an AP.
