    Johnny Blaize: Vegas Virgin

I will be making the Mecca trip shortly. Few questions...

1.) I am flying from the east coast (NYC). Will customs give me any beef if they find out I have 20K in cash strapped to me?

2.) I am a known card counter in all of Atlantic City. What are the chances I will get the boot in sister properties just by facial recognition? If I show ID will I definitely get the boot?

3.) I have done my homework regarding the single and DD games. What are some of the better 6 deck games?

4.) Looking at a map, traversing the strip in its entirety is too far. Is there a cheap shuttle service or is it better to use a taxi?

    thanks in advance

Last time I checked, New York and Las Vegas were both still part of the USA, so you won't have to deal with Customs at all. TSA (airport security) is another matter entirely. It has been my experience that when you are traveling to/from Las Vegas, large sums of cash in themselves do not cause any problems.

If you use the same name you were booted, with, you will almost certainly get the boot, unless you have a name like John Smith. FRS is still shaky. I would suggest playing anonymously and keeping your sessions short.

Can't help you there - I specialize in pitch games. You might consider a subscription to TrackJack.

There is a shuttle bus that runs up and down the strip. It costs $1.50, but it stops at every casino and is slow.

The best solution is to rent a car. Then you can hit some of the off-strip casinos as well without running up a fortune in cab fares.

The Little Green Trolley is now $1.65 and you need exact change. It's not too slow going south (towards the airport).

I can respond to 2 of your questions:
#3) Plenty of good 6D games up and down the strip with low minimums, I was just there and found $5 before 4pm, plenty of $10 min. after 4pm.
#4) Major bummer is that the monorail from MGM to Ballys is down for construction, so the strip is a bit less convenient. Fortunately all of the other trams, trains, etc. are up. The south strip is easy to navigate on foot. Walk (10-15 minutes) or taxi to mid-strip and walk that area. Strip is easy to walk if able. Walking North of Caesers begins to get difficult.
    Have fun.
