AsZehn: Norm: optimal bets
For an 8 Deck game DOA, DAS, NS S17 400 unit bankroll, using KO preferred, with a bet spread of 1-8 where would my optimal bets fall?

You didn't give penetration. Assuming 75% & a $4,000 bankroll, CVCX gets a unit size of $3 and a ramp of:
-7: 1 unit
-6: 2 units
-5: 2 units
-4: 4 units
-3: 6 units
-2: 7 units
-1: 8 units

I was figuring on $15 units and a bankroll of $6000. does that change the betting ramp any?

This isn't a very good game. You would have a risk of ruin of 56%. The optimal Kelly unit size for a $6,000 bankroll in this game with KO Pref. would be $4.35.

Forgot to mention, would backcount and enter game at -6.

Norm Wattenberger: Well that's a whole 'nuther matter.

That drops your RoR to 17.5%. Ramp of:
-6: 1 units
-5: 1 units
-4: 1 units
-3: 2 units
-2: 2.5 units
-1: 3 units
0: 3 units
+1: 4 units
+2: 4.5 units
+3: 5 units
But, there really isn't any need to spread more than 4:1. Even 3:1 is OK.
