    Sun Runner: Winstar -South Oklahoma

Going to be in North Texas soon, was wondering about this place?

On an Oklahoma reservation; I know that much, therefore most likely a collection fee.

    BJ games offered?

    Mindplay?

    CSM, ASM, hand shuffle?

    Thanks again.

Probably correct on the collection fee. But there is a rumor that a couple Okla casino's are not charging the commission. Something about interpretation of the recent legislative bill. Can't comment on Winstar but Cherokee near Tulsa is low limit csm and the high limit(which is just higher minimum bet) is hand dealt. Good Pen can be found but too busy to effectively wong. Basically, not playable. Better off playing poker in Oklahoma. Better money to be made.

    $.50 per hand ante, limits are $5 - $25, $10 - $50, $25 - $100, and $50 - $200. ASM & 8 deck shoes only.

Get up a couple of hundred and watch them sweat...lol.

Better games in Shreveport/Boosier City at the Horseshoe about 3 hours east of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Yuck. Note how the table limits prevent using a winning spread, even before taking the "ante" into consideration. These games are unplayable.

If you are lucky enough to "get up a couple of hundred" . . . RUN!!

    Well worth the drive.

    Dog Hand: "Boosier" City

    Rick,

"Boosier" City: spoken like someone familiar with the rowdy drunks who infest BC every weekend!

Actually, I always thought "Bossier" City was apropos as well, as I've never seen any other casino employees elsewhere who are bossier than those in BC!

Actually, I am there very frequently and the limits were incorrect. Here's what they really are:

    $.50 ante per hand
$5 - $200 (There are around 2-4 shoes...and about 10-12 tables depending on the night)
    $10 - $200 (About 2-4 shoes for the 6-8 tables)
    $25 - $200 (1-2 shoes for the 5-6 tables)
    $50 - $500 (1-2 shoes 2-3 tables)
    $100 - $500 (1 shoe 1 table)

The tables that aren't shoes are obviously Automatic Shufflers using 4 decks (not that that really matters). The real shoes are 6 deck shoes. They switch up the table limits every now and then to suit the players at the time. Casino policy is 3 deck pen, but most of the dealers there don't follow that policy. If you're lucky you can get a dealer who cuts at about the 1 deck mark, but it's about at the 1.5 - 2 deck mark for the most part. Just have to find the dealers that do it.
