Red 7 Man: Red 7 Simulations
The simulation software I use doesn't have the ability to distinguish red cards from black, so to simulate the Red 7 count, I have to use a value of .5 for the 7.
Question: How much, if any, difference does this make?
Certainly it's close enough to consider the simulations worthwhile, but on some of the borderline plays around the pivot, might this difference be significant?
Thanks for any help...

...make a slight difference but for the life of me I can't remember where I read it. Blackjack for Blood? BJA2? Don? Norm?

You didn't read it in either book, but it does make a difference -- which has been discussed on the Web sites. Maybe someone will be able to point you to the reference for the thread(s).
