Ouchez: Inside look at Motor City Casino
Information gleaned from a federal hearing shows the following.
Tables games bring in 30% of the total revenue but require close to 3 and a half as many employees as the slot department which accounts for 70% of the revenue.
The floor supervisors, pit bosses, paY range from $71,000 to $52,000, dealers making $20 per hour with tips.
Managment laments the fact that they cannot keep track of table games action like they can slots.
There is also many more conflicts to resolve with the table games and much higher risk of theft from dealers and players.
Surveillance only reports to the casino manager and Las Vegas headquarters.
You can see the push by Bean Counters to eliminate as many table games as possible or increase the hold as much as possible.

I dont use wisdom, just common sense. It's something that you seem to be lacking. Could you please convert your lacking wisdom to a list of 10 reasons casinos should just throw all the damn tables away? Come on Outchez, and please outpress all the your card counter friends. You a fruking manon.

LOL! I guess that say's is all.
I wasn't saying they should close tables, just that they ARE cutting back in most places and I can now see their rational.
If you are a bean counter and go by the math.....

They are not cutting any table games at the motor city. I play their about 3 times a week at the double deck table. So if you need to now anything about the motor city ask me.

I don't understand the criticism or insults. All the info in Ochez' post makes perfect sense.

It is always good to put oneself in the enemy's mind, to try to feel as he does.
Any intelligence gathered, even seemingly innocuous data, later can help to fill in the big picture.
Keep you're friends close and you're enemy's CLOSER.

doubledown: Re: Ok, What are the DD rules?
Doubledown on 9,10,11 only. No midshue entry. Pairs splits once. Depending on the dealer about 60to 65 cards played. $50 dollar min to $500 max.No heat what so ever.

Brick: That's right Norm.

If you're not a card counter it all makes perfect sense. If you're a card counter it makes perfect nonsense. Hope I dont need to go into the details of why OZ's info is useless to many of us. It should be ever so obvious. Of course if I were a pro internet blackjack hustler then nothing matters.

Two uncalled for insults in one thread. I would respectfully suggest that you reduce your posting util your mood improves.
