Milk Man: 2nd attempt at a UP excursion

Back in February I hoped to go to the UP to get a little of the Michigan gold the counters have been
mining there. Two problems prevented me from going to stake my claim. My cousin broke his foot and could not travel and my brother ended up in the hospital. I went to Madison to help my brother. In August however, my family is planning a reunion in Hurley. I up to use a little extra time to be a part of the UP gaming experience. I think the Milk Maid and I tried a casino near Waters Meet a couple years ago. Anything new or exciting there. Any other attractions the weekend of August 9, 2003?

The news from Watersmeet is all bad. They just started the "hide" policy. If everyone busts the dealer doesn't show his hole card anymore. I had a dealer tell me if only one or two players are playing their policy is to cut at 50%, but don't worry about that because they keep their tables packed. You have to wait tell 3:00 am to get a table with just two players.

I recommend your play Bad River. They have better pen and an equal 2 deck game. The 4 deck game is S17 at Watersmeet but not the best pen.

Funny, while some get worse some others get much better.

Still some great games can be found.
