Now this should be interesting.
Is ETF the Wyatt Earp of BJ?
Is SR the Ike Clanton of BJ?
Could this be another O.K. Corral?
Stay tuned.

ET Fan: Thank you. One more Q.
Do you believe that enthusiastic posts re rules and penetration actually improve the chance good conditions will persist?
I will contact you by email, whatever your answer. I propose we conduct our test in secret, then make the results public when they pour in.

ET Fan: Ouchez is the exception
Ouchez is one of the few posters to this board the casinos would love to attract. In fact, Ouchez can play at my cacino any time!

The paranoia of what the casinos may do in response to posts is a consistent, but highly exaggerated, concern. What you LOSE by being parnoid is the ability to communicate. These boards aren't much use to you can't get at least some general information from fellow players, which is why I don't frequent them too often. All you get is people blasting casinos, blasting each other, and irrelevant speculation. Delusions of granduer notwithstanding, the casinos don't pay as much attention to you as you think.

Read The Card Counter's Guide to Casino Surveillance by D.V. Cellini. The author, a 24 year veteran of casino surveillance rooms, confirms our worst suspicions: The casinos certainly do monitor these boards, and have learned a great deal from us.
Furthermore, I am personally aware of several people who were backed off at casinos after they posted a few too many details about themselves and their play, and an astute floor person or surveillance operator figured out their real identity.
I have also seen many instances in which a good game or favorable promotion was quickly altered or discontinued after being discussed on websites such as this one.
I believe that these sites have value, otherwise I would not be serving as host/moderator here.
However, everyone should always assume that anything they post will be read by casino personnel, and post accordingly.
