Ouchez: Bay Mills drops SD game
word is that it MAY return in the summer or if they get real busy with Snowmobilers but this player feels it will never come back.
It appears that they are sweating table holds and would really like to close all BJ games altogether as it is, according to some, not making any money for the casino.
I wonder if these casinos in the middle of the GNW are very profitable?
I am sure this tribe of Chippewa is working very hard to open the casino in Port Huron that looks now like a sure thing.

Electric Kid: Agree, Doubt if single deck will come back.
It appears Bay Mills is on a downhill slide. The last time I was there they had only one single deck table open which was full so you couldn't play even if you wanted to. I stayed for a total of about 5 minutes. I never played a hand. I went back to Kewadin. They have much better games.
On a side note about single deck games Watersmeet had one for about 6 months when they first opened their new facility and then did away with it. I asked why they got rid of it and they said it wasn't making any money. It appears not much profit for house in these games.

some changes have been made in some very fine games but not on a uniform basis, some are better for us.
I think one of these changes was brought about by my play being scrutinized without my knowing it at a certain location by a group of casino execs.
I was putting on a show at the time well before I realized what was happening.
As I said the changes are not uniform and actually can work to my benefit.
I understand Harris has the old dd back but still the poor pen.
Have you heard different about Harris?

I haven't played at Harris this year. When I was there last they had good rules but poor pen. I always found it hard to win there.

bigplayer: Blackjack Hold Figures in Small Casinos
with only a few tables is going to be extremely volatile and likely will lose money for the casino a few days a week on average. (even with the ploppiest of ploppie players). These casinos don't understand it (but never give a second thought when 25% of their slot machines payout greater than 100% in a day. These casinos will show the same profit as a larger casino...it is just that they must look at a much much longer time line before their eV exceeds their variance (like a count team in reverse).
Only a large casino with lots of blackjack games in operation at all hours can be fairly guaranteed that their 21 games will show a profit day in/day out.
